THIS IS MY RECIPE FOR DEVILED EGGS, MY FAMILY & FRIENDS ALWAYS ASK ME TO MAKE THESE OR WANT THE RECIPE. JUST GOOD SOUTHERN DEVILED EGGS. ENJOY!
Ingredients:
6 hard-boiled eggs
mayonnaise (good quality mayo, i use hellman's or kraft's) or miracle whip, your choice
pinch or 2 of sugar
squirt of mustard
2 tablespoons of dill or sweet relish (more or less, your taste)
handful of green onions chopped
fresh chopped parsley or dried parsley
1/2 to 1 cup shredded cheese ( i use velvetta)
freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
salt ( to taste)
paprika
Directions:
1. Boil the eggs, when done, peel
2. Halve the eggs; scoop yolks into a small bowl.
3. Mash well; add mayonnaise until desired consistency is reached.
4. Stir in the rest of the ingredients.
5. Taste
6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
7. Using a small teaspoon or pastry bag, fill egg white halves
8. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
9. Makes 12 halves
10. Cover and refrigerate until time to eat
11. Recipe can be doubled.
