Ingredients:
1 pound(s) ground beef browned
1/2 whole(s) medium onion chopped
3 clove(s) garlic minced
1/4 teaspoon(s) oregano
1 -8 oz can(s) rotel
1 can(s) ranch style beans
1 tablespoon(s) chili powder
cornbread batter
1/2 cup(s) cornmeal
1/2 cup(s) flour
2 tablespoon(s) sugar
2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 cup(s) milk
2 tablespoon(s) oil
1 whole(s) egg
2 tablespoon(s) jalapeno peppers (optional)
1/3 cup(s) cheddar cheese 1/2-inch cubes
Directions:

2. Brown meat and onions, drain, add tomato sauce, beans, chili powder, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper to taste. Add enough water so mixture is covered. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Pour into a 2 quart baking dish and top with cornbread batter.
