This is an inexpensive main course that allows you to make ahead and serve when you want and if you keep it warm its an all day dish - we do use it for Tailgating - its just a natural
Ingredients:
1 lb ground sirlion
1 lb pork tenderlion
1lb beef chuck roast
3/4 lb hot italian sausage
24 oz. tomato sauce chunky style
6 cups water (or half beer and half water)
4 beef buoillon cubes
1 1/2 cups onion (large dice)
2 chipotile peppers (more if you like more heat)
4 tbsps chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups peppers (larger dice)optional
1 14oz can kidney beans
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker except for kidney beans...cook for 6-8 hours until meat is falling apart. 2. Add beans and cook 20-30 mins longer - check for spice - add as needed. 3. If you want to do this stove top its easily done - just cut your meats into bite size pieces and brown with onions and peppers. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook over low heat for 4 hrs stirring frquently.
