Frugal not much ingredients Taco Salad, small budget with a big taste and flavor MEAL
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs ground turkey (or which ever ground meat you wish to use, ostrich is good choice too)
1-15oz can of black beans (or pinto)
1-15oz can of kidney beans
1-15oz can of stewed tomatoes
1-pkg taco seasoning
1-c grated cheese (i use colby)
dressing: (ingredients)
1-15oz tub of sour cream
2-3 tblsp mayonnaise
2-3 tblsp taco sauce (we use la victoria brand)
2 tblsp taco seasoning
other stuff
1-2 pkg of pre-bagged salad
1 bag of corn chips
pre-made salsa
Directions:
1. Brown the ground turkey in a frying pan, add the taco seasoning (place 2 tblsp aside for dressing). Add kidney beans, black beans and stewed tomatoes, mix well and let simmer for 20 mins.

3. Mix together in a bowl the sour cream, mayonnaise, taco sauce and taco seasoning. set aside in the refridgerator covered.
4. How to arrange on plate:
5. Place some chips on plate, top with some salad, then spoon on the meat & beans mixture, place a dollop of dressing and top with cheese or just top with salso, your choice.
