Taco Salad

This is a good salad to make hot or cold. Serves 3 for a full meal.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. ground round
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 onion chopped fine
1 bottle thousand island dressing
lettuce, tomatoes, green pepper, red cabbage
or any other vegetable you would like in the salad.
1 8oz pkg shredded cheddar cheese
1 pkg dorito nacho cheese chips (broken into smaller pieces)
Directions:
1. Brown meat and onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
2. Stir in taco seasoning.
3. Just before serving stir in vegetables, dressing, chips and chedder cheese.
4. Cover until cheese has melted.
5. Serve Immediately
6. If you wat to serve cold:
7. Brown meat and onion with salt, pepper and taco seasoning the night before.
8. Refrigerate.
9. Combine remaining ingredients when ready to serve salad.
