Easy taco salad that can be spiced up with spicy Doritos and habaneras for those who like it firey!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 1/4 ounces taco seasoning
2 heads lettuce (chopped, can use 1-2 bags of shredded lettuce)
14 1/2 ounces kidney beans (drained, can use black beans)
8 ounces cheddar cheese (shredded, can use mexican flavored)
14 ounces doritos (crushed, can use spicy flavor)
14 1/2 ounces black olives (optional, drained)
14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes (optional, drained, to spice up use diced tomatoes with habaneras)
16 ounces western salad dressing (can use fat free or thousand island dressing)
Directions:
1. Brown meat with onion and drain.
2. Add taco seasoning and mix.
3. Add remaining ingredients when you are ready to serve and mix.
