Middle eastern appetizer. The best Tabouli recipe. make sure to dry parsley, choose a dark fine ground wheat, and add olive oil after soaking and before adding vegetables. You can replace dried ground mint with 1/2 cup fresh chopped mint
Ingredients:
1 cup wheat
1 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon dried mint
1 cup olive oil
6 parsley
2 medium tomatoes
1 sweet onion
Directions:
1. Wash parsley and let it dry for 2 hours.
2. Add wheat, lemon juice, salt, sugar, and mint in bowl and let it soak for 2 hours.
3. Add olive oil to wheat mixture.
4. Chop parsley finely.
5. Dice tomato into very small pieces.
6. Chop onion finely.
7. Add chopped vegetables to wheat mixture and mix well.
8. ENJOY.
