Swiss Corn Bake

This has been a traditional holiday side for our family. It is a new spin on a boring old side dish.
Ingredients:
3 cups corn or 2-9oz pkgs of frozen corn
6oz can of evaporated milk
1 egg
2tfinely chopped onions
1/2t salt
1 cup shredded swiss cheese(divided into 3/4 cup and 1/4 cup)
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1t melted butter
Directions:
1. Cook corn according to package and drain
2. Combine corn, evaporated milk, egg, onion, salt, pepper, and 3/4 cup swiss cheese
3. Turn inot 10x6x1 1/2 baking dish
4. Toss bread crumbs with melted butter and 1/4 cup swiss cheese and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes
