Swiss Cheese Fondue

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons reduced-calorie margarine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
dash of ground white pepper
2 1/2 cups evaporated skimmed milk
3 cups (12 ounces) shredded reduced-fat swiss cheese
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon low-sodium worcestershire sauce
dash of hot sauce
1 (8-ounce) loaf french bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 medium red delicious apples, cut into wedges
4 granny smith apples, cut into wedges
Directions:
1. Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat; add flour, garlic powder, and pepper. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring constantly, 12 to 14 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Add cheese and wine, stirring well. Cook over low heat until cheese melts. Add Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce, stirring occasionally.
2. Transfer cheese mixture to a fondue pot, and keep warm. Serve with bread cubes and apple wedges.
