This sauce is a creation of my own. I wanted to make a sweet and mildly spicy/tangy sauce for pork chops. It's easy to make, and it smells and tastes delicious! My dad loved it so much that he didn't even use barbecue sauce (which is usually a staple item for him no matter what meat we eat)! Note: When the chops are done, use the leftover sauce in the pan as a dipping sauce or just pour it over the chops on your plate!
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground rosemary
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
2 tablespoons apple juice
1/2 teaspoon paprika
3 drops tabasco sauce
4 pork chops
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients for the sauce in a medium pot and stir on medium heat until thoroughly mixed. Let it simmer to become a smooth liquid.
2. Put thawed pork chops in a pan; turn heat to about medium-high.
3. Pour the sauce over the pork chops.
4. Cook until the pork chops are done (white all the way through).
5. Enjoy!
