Sweet & Sour Meatballs

We serve these every new years when we have a neighborhood gathering. They always go over well. I could only guess at the prep time and serving sizes, but I am close.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
2 cups soft breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon margarine
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup white vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
3 drops tabasco sauce or 3 drops rogers hot sauce
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 green pepper (chopped)
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
Directions:
1. MEATBALLS: Combine all ingrediants, mix.
2. Shape into 1 meat balls, brown in butter over medium heat.
3. Drain.
4. SAUCE: Combine all ingrediants except pepper and pineapple.
5. Cook until thickened and clear, stirring constantly.
6. Add pineapple.
7. Pour over meatballs in large casserole.
8. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes.
9. Add green pepper 10 minutes before removing.
