Sweet Potato Crunch

This is a family favorite at the holidays! You can either bake fresh sweet potatoes ahead of time or use drained canned sweet potatoes.
Ingredients:
3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 cup chopped walnuts or 1 cup pecans
1/3 cup butter
Directions:
1. Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, spices and butter thoroughly.
2. Mix all the topping ingredients together with a fork and sprinkle on top of sweet potatoes.
3. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
