I found this recipe on a bottle of Philosophy shower gel - a very odd place to find a recipe, I will admit. It makes excellent frosting for cakes or cookies, though. I wanted to enter it here so I wouldn't lose it! Ingredients:
3 cups confectioners' sugar |
1 cup butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 -2 tablespoon whipping cream |
Directions:
1. In a standing mixer fitted with a whisk, mix together sugar and butter. Mix on low speed until well blended, then ioncrease speed to medium and beat another 3 minute Add vanilla and cream and continue to beat on med speed 1 minute more, adding more cream if needed for spreading consistency.
