Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, cover nuts completely with molasses and bring to a boil for 3 minutes, taking care not to burn mixture.
  2. Thoroughly drain nuts in a colander and spread them out on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Sprinkle with spices, to taste, if desired.
  3. Bake for 7-8 minutes (or until molasses become slightly frothy), then let cool. Break nuts apart and store them in a covered glass container, or put them in a fancy tin or mason jar and give them for Christmas gifts.
