Sweet And Sour Red Cabbage

My standard and favorite. This is good hot OR cold the next day. Don't laugh....I eat this as a snack!
Ingredients:
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 head red cabbage, shredded
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar (i use brown sugar twin and you can't tell the difference)
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. In electric skillet, saute the bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and use for something else. Add vinegar & brown sugar, water and salt. Mix well. Add cabbage and mix well again. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
