Swedish Potatoes II

From a little Swedish recipe book of mine. Makes 4 servings.
Ingredients:
8 potatoes, peeled and diced
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 3/4 cups milk
salt
white pepper
chopped parsley (optional)
Directions:
1. Brown the potatoes and onion in butter. Season.
2. Add the milk gradually and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes. Season to taste.
3. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
