Low fat/cal spaghetti sauce
Ingredients:
1/3 c chopped onion
2 t minced garlic
1 1/3 c tomatoes, canned, crushed
1 t tomato paste
1 t water
1 t honey
1 t dried oregano
1 t italian seasoning
1 t extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 t dried basil leaves
Directions:
1. Saute' onion and garlic in pan, in olive oil. Cook stirring occasionally 3 - 5 min. Reduce to low. Add tomatoes, tom. paste, water, honey, seasonings. Stir w/ wooden spoon to mix. Simmer 5 min. for flavors to blend.
