Super Snack Pita Pocket Bread

Just what is needed after holidays and what a yummy sandwhich should be.
Ingredients:
super snack pita pocket bread
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 t. sugar
1t. salt
1 3/4c. water
2t. oil
Directions:
1. *****************************************
2. In a large bowl combine flour, yeast, salt,sugar, mix well.
3. In a sauce pan heat oil and water until very warm..120-130 degrees..Add to flour mixture and beat on high speed for 3 mins.
4. By hand add enough flour until a firm dough is formed.
5. Knead on floured surface for about 10 mins..until dough is smooth and elastic.
6. Cover dough with plastic and a towel and let rest on a board for 20 mins.
7. ******Preheat Oven to 500 degrees******
8. Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal portions.
9. Shape each into a smooth ball and let rest with
10. enough space between balls of dough.

12. Roll each ball into a 6 inch circle.(I use an additional cooling rack to prevent fall throughs.)
13. Place directly on center rack in preheated oven
14. Bake for 3-4 mins.
15. Cool on rack..
16. Cut in half and stuff with filling of your choice..
17. Great to cut calories after the holidays..
18. Great with all that Turkey and Ham…
