Here is a chili that you can make when you get home from work and it will be ready in about an hour. Always a favorite in my house!
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef (a little extra for you carnivores)
1 - 1.75oz packet of frenches chili-o mix seasoning (add an extra packet for a spicy version!)
3 - 15oz cans of tomato sauce (as spicy as you like)
1 - 15oz can of diced tomatoes
2 - 30.5oz brooks chili hot kidney beans
shredded cheese, onion, sour cream, oyster crackes and whatever else you like for topping
freeze left overs and use for chili mac or chili dogs
Directions:
1. Brown the ground beef and drain off any fat
2. Add the packet(s) of Chili Seasoning and mix well
3. Add Tomato Sauce
4. Add Diced Tomatoes
5. Add Chili Beans
6. Incorporate all ingredients together
7. Let chili simmer on medium-low heat for 1 hour (the longer you let it simmer the better the flavors will join)
