Super Glazed Carrots

This recipe is from a Greek monastery cookbook. Me and my DH love it as a side dish with steam cooked fish!
Ingredients:
2 lbs carrots
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons sugar
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Boil the carrots for 5 minutes just to get a little tender.
2. Put them in a saucepan with enough water to cover them.
3. Add butter, salt, pepper and sugar.
4. Let them boil in low heat for about 30-35 minutes or until the water is saved.
