If you are trying to avoid dairy and white flour, you really do miss pizza and the taste of cheese. You can find wholemeal pitta breads in most supermarkets and dairy free slices in health food shops. Less than 20 minutes later, a healthy bite to eat that really hits the spot. If you are vegan, you can remove the ham or replace it with ham-style quorn.
Ingredients:
1 wholemeal pitta bread
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1/2 sliced tomato
6 pineapple chunks
3 slices ham, cubed
2 mozzarella cheese, style dairy free slices
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 200 Celsius.
2. Spread the tomato puree over the pitta bread.
3. Lay out the slices of tomato, pineapple chunks and ham.
4. Lay the dairy-free mozzarella on top, to cover the other ingredient.
5. Put in the oven for 15 minutes.
6. Serve.
