Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup. + 1 tsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
  • black pepper (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Stir in corn and milk.
  3. Sprinkle with cornstarch, sugar and salt; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally 10-12 minutes.
  5. Season with black pepper to taste.
