This is a great recipe I came across in a magazine and made some changes to. I had to share (I'm drinking it right now, it's delicious!) It's very healthy, full of vitamins, low fat and low cal, and it tastes like a treat. If you're watching your weight, want to start a healthier diet, or just want a tasty smoothie this is a recipe you should try. Best of all, it's extremely easy!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1/4 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
3 -5 ice cubes
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine the fruit, pomegranate juice, yogurt, lemon zest and juice, and blend until smooth.
2. Add the ice cubes, and blend again until it is smooth.
3. Note: If using frozen fruit, you may need to add additional yogurt for consistency.
