Sugarless Fruit And Nut Cookies

Something sweet that is actually good for you ... that just doesn't happen often enough. This is one of those guiltless pleasures. Dough has to be refrigerated overnight.
Ingredients:
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. chopped apples
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, boil together the raisins, chopped dates, chopped apples and water on low heat for 3 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, then add margarine, flour, baking soda and chopped nuts. Mix well; refrigerate overnight.
2. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° F. 10 to 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
