My grandmother always made these in fall and winter. Best served warm, with hot cocoa or coffee.
Ingredients:
1 egg white
1 tablespoon water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 lb pecan halves
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, salt, and cinnamon Beat egg white and water to a froth.
2. Dip pecan halfs in egg white froth.
3. Then dip in sugar mixture.
4. Place in a shallow pan And bake 300 degrees for up to 30 to 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
5. Careful not to burn.
6. let cool till warm and enjoy.
