Stuffed Peppers with Cheese

Crockpot Recipe Minimal prep work.
Ingredients:
6 green peppers
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 egg
1 1/2 c cooked rice
15 oz tomato sauce
3/4 c cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions:
1. Remove stems, seeds & membranes from peppers.
2. Combine beef, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, egg, rice, 1/3 tomato sauce and cheddar cheese. Stuff into peppers. Stand in slow cooker.
3. Cover with remaining tomato sauce.
4. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
