Microwaved green peppers. Add cheddar cheese as a topper at end (a few more calories).
Ingredients:
32 4/5 oz ground beef
1/2 c. canned milk
2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 egg
1 c. cooked brown rice
1/4 c. chopped onion
9 medium green peppers, topped and cleaned
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup bread crumbs, plain dry
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except green peppers.
2. Stuff one cup of mixture into each pepper.
3. Microwave high for 24 to 28 minutes, rotating 1/2 turn after 12 minutes.
4. Top with cheese slice(optional) 5-10 minutes before serving.
