Another appetizer I found online years ago. I have modified it a little. This is always a big hit and requested often. Makes 48 appetizers.
Ingredients:
2 cans refrigerated pizza crust
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 48 cubes
48 slices pepperoni
jar pizza sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons dried italian seasoning
3 teaspoons freshly grated parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons minced garlic
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400
2. Spray two 9-inch pie pans or one 13 x 9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
3. Remove dough from both cans; unroll.
4. Starting at center, press out each dough rectangle to form a 12 x 8-inch rectangle.
5. Cut each rectangle into 24 squares.
6. Top each square with a dollop of sauce, cheese cube and a pepperoni slice.
7. Wrap dough around filling to completely cover; firmly press edges to seal.
8. Place seam side down with sides touching in sprayed pie pans.
9. In a small bowl, combine oil, garlic
10. and Italian seasoning; mix well.
11. Drizzle over filled dough in pans.
12. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
13. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 16 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
14. Warm the remaining sauce and use as dip
15. Serve warm.
