These are rich but oh so good. Ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour |
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1-1/2 cups butter chilled |

3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1-1/2 cups corn syrup |
1 cup milk |
1/3 cup butter melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
4 eggs |
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400. 2. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off. 3. In large bowl combine all crust ingredients then blend until crumbly. 4. Reserve 2 cups crumbs for filling and topping. 5. Press remaining crumbs in bottom and 3/4 up sides of unprepared jelly roll pan. 6. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. 7. In large bowl combine 1/4 cup reserved crumbs and all filling ingredients except pecans. 8. Mix well then stir in pecans and pour over baked crust and bake 10 minutes longer. 9. Reduce oven temperature to 350 then sprinkle remaining crumbs over top and bake 25 minutes. |
