Strawberry Pretzel Squares

Ingredients:

2 cup(s) finely crushed pretzels

1/3 cup(s) sugar

2/3 cup(s) margarine or butter melted

12 ounce(s) cream cheese softened

1/4 cup(s) sugar

2 tablespoon(s) milk

1 cup(s) cool whip thawed

2 cup(s) boiling water

1 package(s) 8 serving size (or 2-4 serving size strawberry jello

1 1/2 cup(s) cold water

2 pint(s) strawberries sliced

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 350*F. Mix crushed pretzels, 1/3 cup sugar and margarine. Press firmly into bottom of 13 X 9 pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool.
2. Beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and milk until smooth. Stir in Cool Whip. Spread over crust. Refrigerate.
3. Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1-1/2 hours or until thickened. Stir in strawberries. Spoon over cream cheese layer.
4. Refrigerate 3 hrs or until firm. Cut into squares. Garnish as desired.
