Strawberry Nut Loaf

This sweet bread made in a loaf pan is great with coffee or tea. It tastes like a muffin or cake more than a bread. In lieu of the fresh strawberries, 2 10-ounce packages of thawed and drained frozen strawberries may be used.
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh strawberries, halved
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup pecans, chopped
Directions:
1. Combine first three ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
2. In a separate smaller bowl, sift together the dry ingredients.
3. Stir dry ingredients into strawberry mixture until thoroughly blended.
4. Fold in nuts.
5. Pour batter into a greased 9 x 5 -inch greased loaf pan.
6. Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for 1 hour.
