This recipe came from Ball Fruit Jell Pectin label. It's simple but delicious.
Ingredients:
2 quarts strawberries
1/4 cup lemon juice
7 cups sugar
1 (1 3/4 ounce) package fruit jell pectin
Directions:
1. Remove caps from strawberries.
2. Crush strawberries, one layer at a time.
3. Place strawberries and lemon juice into a 6-quart saucepot.
4. Gradually stir pectin into the mixture.
5. Bring mixture to a full boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
6. Add sugar, stirring to dissolve.
7. Return mixture to a full, rolling boil and boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly.
8. Remove from heat and skim foam.
9. Can the mixture following standardized sterile heat canning process.
