Strawberry Daiquiri Cake

This is a refreshing summertime dessert. Simple to make and it always gets rave reviews.
Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) package white cake mix
3 egg whites (or as called for by your cake mix)
1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
1 cup strawberry daiquiri mix
1 (8 ounce) container cool whip
16 ounces frozen strawberries, thawed
Directions:
1. Bake cake mix per box instructons and let cool.
2. Punch holes throughout the cake using a straw and pour the strawberry colada mix throughout the cake.
3. Put cake in the refrigerator until it gets cold.
4. Once cake is cold or you are ready to serve, spread the strawberries over the top of the cake.
5. Spread the Cool Whip over the strawberries and serve.
6. You can substitute frozen strawberries for fresh it you like. Fresh strawberries also can be used to add finishing touches to the top of the cake.
