Strawberry Cream Cheese Bars |

Creamy, strawberry, sweet, gooey, addicting and very easy to make. Can't go wrong with this one, especially when you need something in a hurry. This is always a big hit when I make these. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 package strawberry cake mix |
1/3 cup butter melted |
1 egg |
12 ounce jar strawberry preserves |
8 ounce package cream cheese softened |
1/4 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 then grease a rectangular pan.
2. In a large bowl combine cake mix, butter and egg then mix with fork until just crumbly.
3. Gently spoon 1-1/2 cups into measuring cup and set aside for topping.
4. Press remainder of crumb mixture into bottom of pan and bake 10 minutes.
5. Spread preserves over baked crust.
6. In a small bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg then beat until smooth.
7. Spread over preserves then sprinkle reserved topping mix over cream cheese mixture.
8. Bake 30 minutes then chill and cut into squares.
9. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
