This recipe comes from a book by Jerry Baker and is his favorite for spray starching. I've not tried this one yet but will soon. There are several ways to make your own laundry starch, but they all include the same secret ingredient: Stirring the bejeebers out of them to make sure they end up lump free. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1/2 cup water |
Directions:
1. Mix the cornstarch and the water in a saucepan over medium heat (not boiling) until mixture is smooth and transparent.
2. Let it cool enough so you can safely pour it into a spray bottle.
3. Voila!
4. You're ready to go!
