beans sprout is common vege side dish in my country, more popular to chinese when they serve sprout with chicken rice, malays ate it as side dish vege in rice. its also use in other type of food such as flat noodles, noodles and vermicelly as ingredients. Read more . cant cook long it will go soft. stim and stir-fry is the best way to cook it.
Ingredients:
200-300g sprouts -soaked to clean and strain.
1 shallots, 1 clove garlic and red chilly -sliced thin.
1 table spoon dried shrimp-wash.
1 table spoon oyster sauce.
1 table spoon oil for cooking
1/4 cup water.
1/2 tea spoon salt.
Directions:
1. heat oil in the wok and put in sliced shallots, garlic, red chilly and dried shrimps. stir-fry for about 1 min
2. put oyster sauce and stir a little and pour in water, let it boil.
3. add salt and stir before add in the sprouts.
4. mix them well for about 2 min and its ready to serve...
