generic, can be used for beef, chicken, or shrimp
Ingredients:
1/2 cup cornstarch
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon minced ginger
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup dry sherry
2 1/2 cups beef or chicken broth
1 teaspoons hot sauce (or use ' 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper)
4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved
2. Pour over stir fry just a few minutes to thicken after meat & veggies are done
3. Refrigerate and use within 2 weeks or freeze any extra. Makes about 4 cups
