Stilton, Fruit and Nut Crumble

Ingredients:
1 lb cooking apple, peeled, cored and chopped
1 lb ripe pear, peeled, cored and chopped
sugar (approx 3 tbsp)
2 ounces rolled oats
2 ounces butter
6 ounces plain flour
2 ounces walnuts
3 ounces white stilton cheese
2 ounces sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4.
2. Place the fruit in a deep ovenproof dish and sprinkle with sugar to taste.
3. Place remaining ingredients in a food processor and process briefly until mixture resembles fresh breadcrumbs.
4. Pour most of the crumble mixture evenly over the fruit and press down gently. Sprinkle the remaining crumble evenly over the top and bake for 40 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Serve hot.
