Steel-Cut Oatmeal With a Crispy Maple Crust

Found this on and tried it this morning. Comfort food at its finest... mmmm... (use any kind of oatmeal you prefer, it's the broiling of the brown sugar that makes this recipe!
Ingredients:
4 cups oatmeal, cooked
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup raspberries (optional)
Directions:
1. Follow the oatmeal box instructions to serve 4.
2. Cook oatmeal and when finished transfer to 4 oven proof bowls.
3. Combine the brown sugar and pecans.
4. Divide the brown sugar mixture among the bowls and sprinkle over the entire surface of oatmeal.
5. Heat oven broiler to high and set 5-6 inches from heat source.
6. Place bowls on baking sheet and broil in the oven for 1-3 minutes or until dark brown and bubbly.
7. Remove and sprinkle with raspberries.
8. Serve with milk if desired.
