Steamed Rice Cakes (aka Idli)

This is a childhood favourite. Quantity of idlies depend on the size of the moulds.
Ingredients:
250 g raw rice
110 g split white gram (urad dal)
2 -3 tablespoons cooked rice
salt
oil
Directions:
1. Soak the rice and dal for 4-5 hours.
2. Grind with cooked rice.
3. Keep ovenight.
4. Add salt to taste abd mix well.
5. Grease moulds.
6. Steam for 10-15 minutes till done.
