Steak N Potato Soup

My husband is a meat and potato man. He loves this recipe.
Ingredients:
2 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak
2 tbsps. vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped onions
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 lbs. small red potatoes, cut into 3/4 - inch pieces
3 cups baby-cut carrots, cut lengthwise into fourths
1 - 1 lb. bag frozen cut green beans
2 tbsps. chopped dried basil leaves
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. salt
6 (14 oz. each) cans beef broth
3 tbsps. a1 steak sauce
Directions:
1. Cut beef into 1/4 - inch strips; cut strips into 1 inch pieces.
2. Heat oil in stockpot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook beef in oil 4 to 5 inutes or until brown.
3. Add onion and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes. Stirring frequently.
4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
5. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low.
6. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
