Spoon Pudding With Shortbread Cookies

If you are in need of a quick chocolate fix then this is it. It is quick, simple and good. I especially like the mix of bananas and shortbread cookies.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 c. cold milk
1 pkg (4 serving) instant chocolate pudding and pie filling (lemon is good also)
24 shortbread cookies
2 large bananas
2 cups thawed cool whip topping
Directions:
1. Pour the milk into a large bowl and add the pudding mix. Beat with a wire whisk for two minutes or until blended. Let pudding stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
2. Arrange 1/2 of the cookies on the bottom and sides of a 1 1/2 quart serving bowl; cover with layers of 1/2 each of the pudding, bananas and whipped topping. Repeat layers starting with the shortbread cookies again.
3. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
4. Eat and enjoy! : D
