Ingredients:
3/4 cup corn flour
1/4 cup plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
4 eggs
1/2 cup caster sugar
Directions:
1. separate eggs and beat whites
2. add sugar gradually
3. add yolks one at a time
4. sift flours and additives
5. fold into egg mixture
6. pour cake mix into 8 inch cake pan
7. bake in moderate oven about 30 minutes
