Split Red Lentil Soup - Large Volume

A tasty and filling lentil and vegetable soup.
Ingredients:
1 kg split red lentils
4 onions, chopped
1 kg mixed vegetables
8 liters vegetable stock
500 g small shell pasta
Directions:
1. Brown onions in a spot of oil.
2. Add rinsed lentils and stock.
3. Bring to boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Add mixed vegetables (I use corn, peas, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower).
5. Add pasta shapes.
6. Cook until done.
