Split Pea Soup with Chorizo

Bean soup with a kick of spanish sausage 1 svg = 10.5 oz.
Ingredients:
1/2 c
1/4 c carrot, chopped
1 1/2 oz. , sliced
2 tbsp. onion
1 tbsp. rosemary, fresh
3 c water
Directions:
1. Soak the dried peas overnight, or bring them to a boil in the water, boil one full minute, then turn off a let rest at least 1 hour.
2. Prepare the rest of the ingredients, then add to peas. Add salt and pepper if you like.
3. Bring the pot to a boil, then turn down and simmer uncovered until peas are soft.
4. Pour the soup into a blender and blend until smooth. Taste for spices and adjust if necessary.
5. Return to pot and reheat gently. Serve hot.
