Spinach Mushroom Toss

This comes from my old Betty Crocker Cookbook...I love it!
Ingredients:
1/4 c tarragon, red wine vinegar, or rice vinegar
3/4 tsp salt
1 sm clove garlic, crushed
1 generous dash(es) freshly ground pepper
8 oz mushrooms, sliced (about 3 cups)
16 oz spinach, torn into bite size pieces (i use baby spinach)
1/4 c olive or vegatabe oil
1-2 tbsp sugar
Directions:
1. Mix vinegar, salt, garlic and pepper; toss with mushrooms and let stand 15 minutes.
2. Toss spinach and oil until leaves glisten. Toss mushroom mixture with spinach. (I sometimes add sliced strawberries)
