Spinach French Bread Dip

This spinach dip has always gotten rave reviews at any gathering I take it to. Not sure why, as it's just another spinach dip recipe, but everyone says it's the best. You be the judge.
Ingredients:
1 large loaf french bread
1 package chopped frozen spinach
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 package knorr vegetable soup mix (knorr is the best soup mix for this recipe)
1 can water chestnuts
3 green onions
Directions:
1. Slice French Bread
2. Drain Spinach well and Chop
3. Slice chestnuts
4. Slice Green Onions, using both the white and green parts
5. Mix all ingredients together
6. Refrigerate at least 12 hours
7. Serve with sliced french bread
