A bowlful of this soup will warm you up on a cold day. Served with homemade bread and you have a great meal.
Ingredients:
2 medium onions, chopped
1 t. oil
4 cloves garlic minced
2-4 oz. cans chopped green chilies
2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp cloves
2-14oz. cans chicken broth
4 cups chopped cooked chicken
3-15 oz. cans great northern beans, rinsed
Directions:
1. Saute onions and garlic in oil until tender.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients to mixture.
3. Cooker over medium heat for 2-3 min.
4. Stirring constantly.
5. Reduce heat and simmer for at least 15 min.
6. Garnish with shredded cheese.
