Inspired by Taiwanese flavors, these noodles are spicy and tangy. Try substituting the black sesame seeds for the regular type if you like a full-bodied flavor. I like to eat these at room temperature, but they're also good cold.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 tablespoons tamari
2 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons peanut oil
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 tablespoon hot chinese chili paste
1 tablespoon chopped pickled ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 green onions, sliced
10 ounces curly chinese noodles, cooked, rinsed, and drained
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Combine the first ten ingredients. Add green onions to the mixture and let stand while the noodles are prepared. To finish, combine noodles, sesame seeds and sauce.
