Spicy Ginger BBQ Sauce

Brush sauce onto chicken during the last 10 minutes of grilling, and serve extra on the side.
Ingredients:
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
2 tablespoons chopped fresh garlic
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup dry rosé or dry white wine
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon worcestershire
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions:
1. Sauté onion, ginger, and garlic with vegetable oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat until soft, about 5 minutes.
2. Add rosé, ketchup, cider vinegar, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until very slightly thickened, 5 to 6 minutes.
3. Cool slightly, add lemon juice, then whirl in a blender until smooth.
4. Note: Nutritional analysis is per 1/4-cup serving.
